Today was fun!
Chris, Bryce, Zack, Jackie and I hung out. We went to Lisbon Wal-Mart, followed by the Green Onion in Lisbon. It was pretty good. The highlight of that was probably when Bryce spilled his shells and sausage (in tomato sauce), all over the car floor. It was pretty damned hilarious. They joked about it being there for me to snack on when I get hungry!!!
Anyway, when we got back to Jackie's house, I tried to pull into the driveway, but I got stuck. The car was stuck in the snow. Yes, whoever shoveled the driveway did a SHITTY job, and I mentioned that a few hours prior to this event. Thankfully, my mother bought me grip things to put under my tires in case I ever got stuck. With those, a shovel, some advice from Bryce (the non-driver), and a few tries, my car was out.
Inside we hung around and talking, as usual. Quote from Jackie, "Chris has the most gorgeous eyes ever!" (yes, I probably screwed the quote up). How "truthful," yet ironic those words are. That was the highlight after the car incident. I think I laughed for a good five minutes. I also laughed for a good five minutes when Bryce made arson dance. That was funny.
Brought Jackie to work after. Went to Best Buy. Bought "Miss Congeniality" (only because it will go up by $10+ when the second one comes out in a few months).
But yes, I had a good day.
Here's the link to my photos, where you can find pictures from today (at about 10:30 when they're done downloading). The album is called "Jan 24 pics."

Step 1: Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play. Step 2: Pick your favorite lines from the first 25 songs that play. Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come from. Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

What I learned in 2004
Living up the summer is a great remedy for boredom and worry
The best conversations are those held in commuter parking lots
Nobody needs D channel. Coffee wins
It is difficult to admit the truth; it's even more difficult if you're Jackie and you're stubborn
My mother will never change
I do not need a boy to be happy
Alan Donahue is the funniest person I know
Back to back episodes of The Golden Girls is a perfect way to spend the day.
80s Music is God
When one refers to chips at the mention of poker, they don't mean Tostitos

There are so many good kissers out there
Don't trust navy boys!
It must suck being a veagan
We have all grown up so much, yet we are still kids
Express doesn't go up to size 14 anymore
Clay Aiken, Gavin DeGraw, and John Mayer are the best male singers under the age of 30
Parting isn't always a bad thing
Subway isn't as good as D'angelos
Being in a relationship doesn't always have to come with the package deal. Sometimes trying something less intense is more fun
The Lord of the Rings is good for only one thing
Acorn Acres is not a good place to work.
I am comfortable in my skin
Only at Dairy Queen must one pay for extra sauce
The best moments are spontaneous and unplanned
Lying around with friends on Jackie's $3,000 couch with Ugs is a fulfilling experience
Elton John was knighted. That's why he's a "Sir"
Memories are irreplaceable, and I never want to forget those of this year
Applying to college is stressful
Jennings is the shit
10.46 is a referentless pronoun

I have 33.3% of a life
Pootah means so much, yet so little
The phone rings when someone tells a dull story
A spoon to the head results in blood loss
I know how to analyze a movie (and even take notes)
I've learned to like people before disliking them
Love/friendship can be found in the most unexpected places
Best Buy keeps some DVDs (like Twister) by the checkout line
The more I know, the less I understand
I let out my emotions through music
The YMCA is a good place to work
It's okay to date someone shorter than me
You're not allowed to take pictures in Wal-Mart
Marybeth and I have similar eating habits
High School is definitely worth the effort
Jackie likes little squishy fries
The Nanny and The Golden Girls are the best shows ever made
Popping a zit is one of the most relieving experiences (besides taking a shit)
George Michael's new CD Patience is complete shit
Those who don't know what side of the U.S. the west coast is on, should DIE
I know how to refill my wiper fluid
Handle things as they come to you; why worry ahead of time?
A flashlight is the answer to removing ALL the stuffing from the turkey
Cardboard boxes' have no personality. Especially one that goes to our school
One must run their red NFA shorts through the wash on occasion
Perspective is everything
Elton John is a sign
Going with the flow gets you somewhere; worrying doesn't
I have some of the best friends in the world
Everything changes in time; everything except memories
The WNN tape is in the vending machine
Jackie is my emotional dumping ground
Don't try to find yourself in someone else
I learned how to love respectfully
Trust and self-assurance leads to happiness
If life were a box of chocolates, I wouldn't have one.
Things I still don't know:
Where the money went Where my money went Why certain people talk Why I still where my hair up a lot When we're going to change buses What the color of the day will be tomorrow Why certain people date cardboard boxes
I still don't know exactly why I love my friends and family, I just do.

I'd like to make a few apologies.
Erin, I'm sorry for making mean comments about you. I'm sorry this whole thing had to escalate into such a go-for-the-throat ordeal. I don't think you're a bitch. I just didn't want to deal with it anymore. I will have you know that I said nothing more to Robin than what I already mentioned. I wasn't plotting against you. I was just mad because I didn't know why you'd even bother coming to my party that day at all. And I didn't understand why you talked to me at work that day. I apologize for the misunderstanding. The other day at CPR re-certification reminded me of what good times we used to have. Even if you chose to forget the friendship, you can't forget the memories we had this past summer.
Bryan, I'm sorry for saying those things about you too (those in zack's journal). I don't really know how this has anything to do with you. I thought it was between Erin and I. Hell, I don't know how anyone else got dragged into this but me. But for whatever happened between us, whatever went wrong, whatever was said, I'm sorry. I liked being friends with you.
I also apologize to anyone else who got dragged into this, especially Suman, Zack, and Chris.
I thought our friendships were all worth more than a few lousy LiveJournal comments, but I guess not. Nobody even put up a fight. It could have been worked out, but no one wanted to bother. That, to me, is the sad part.
Since I'm the one who allegedly started it, I'm going to try and fix it. In the end if we're friends, not friends, worst enemies, best friends, at least I can say I tried.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.
I don't think I'll ever forget Christmas this year, marked by the eruption of unstoppable laughter between Jackie and I during the singing of "Silent Night" at midnight mass on Christmas Eve, as Jackie, Chris, Keri, the twins and I sat in the second row. I will only say this: "holy face."
I think I gave Jackie the best present I've ever given anyone. I realized the extent of my creativity at 3 AM on Christmas Eve (technically, morning), as I came up with the brilliant "packaging" for her present.
The most useless thing I think I've ever recieved in my life was given to me this Christmas. Yes, that's right: a radio pen.
Some of my favorites included the Golden Girls first season on DVD, and this rediculous mini trampoline (about 40" across) that I found myself "getting down" to techno Christmas music [DJ Kris Kringle] on.
The thing about this Christmas was that I got to spend it with all the people I love, not just my family. Thanks Jackie, Ugs, Marga the hut, Brittany, Gaga, Jackie's g-ma, Chris, Bib, Ed, Chris' sibs, and my family.
Hope everyone has a great break!
Oh yeah, of course it decides to snow when we're already out of school. That stupid sky. Damn him!

Christmas is about showing your friends, family, and acquaintences that you care about them; even if it means swallowing your pride. Christmas is about forgetting about the past confusion or hate and putting it behind you. For anyone I've hurt, for anyone I've offended, for my old friends who no longer choose to be my friend, for anyone who's hurt me, for anyone who's been consumed by impulse or hate, and for anyone I haven't given a chance: I'm sorry and I forgive all. I hold no grudges.
Merry Christmas everyone. May your hearts be filled with truth and love: the most important things in life.

GUESS WHAT? I got into college!!! I got into Quinnipiac... and I'm really excited! It was my second choice. Now I just need to hear back from the other five. I should know all of them by mid Jan. :)
Anyways, Friday at the Providence Place mall was awesome! It was a tough drive coming into the city, but other than that it was really fun. I have to say though, getting lost in Providence, trying to find I-95 south, was an experience!
"Oh look, it's a cop! Chase him! We need directions!" Chris- "Airy Een dor da oy!!" I had to leave old navy, chris had to leave H&M and sarah had to leave delia's to take shits! "I'm gonna wake up and we're gonna be in Montana!!" Me: "We're gonna end up in new Jersey!" Jackie: "You have to go through CT to get to NJ. you can't go through the ocean" "we can't go east, it'll bring us to the ocean!" later: "I picture the road going right into the ocean, on a slant"
"Chris might have gotten murdered in the bathroom!" Jackie flirts with ALL male cashiers.
We have to do trips more often!! CHRISTMAS IS IN 6 DAYS!!!!!!
I have to make a cheesecake for Jackie, and two cakes, so Chris can eat one of them!!!
